From 2010 to 2015, Volkswagen assembled the 1.2-liter turbocharged CBZA 1.2 TSI engine, which was fitted to popular concern models like the Caddy 3, the sixth generation Golf. Additionally, the Audi A1, Skoda Roomster, and Fabia frequently have this power unit under the hood.

CBZA, CBZB, BMY, BWK, CAVA, CAVD, CAXA, CDGA, and CTHA are all part of the EA111-TSI series.

Disadvantages of the VW CBZA engine
The timing chain resource was between 30,000 and 50,000 kilometers during the initial years of production.
When stretched, a reinforced version of the chain that is approximately 100,000 kilometers long jumps.
The wastegate control drive and turbine geometry are not very reliable.
Many owners of vehicles with these motors report vibrations when the vehicle is at rest.
They frequently lament the lengthy warm-up during the winter months on specialized forums.
