From 1994 to 2008, the company produced the 1.5-liter 8-valve Daewoo G15MF engine, which was used on the largest Nexia model and, for a while, the Espero. In certain automotive markets, this power unit is now widely used.

Disadvantages of the Daewoo G15MF engine
This very dependable power unit frequently experiences inadequate maintenance;
Rapid camshaft wear is caused by low-quality oil and its infrequent replacement;
The ignition distributor with a magnetoelectric sensor is the motor’s weak point;
If the 60,000-kilometer timing belt breaks, the valves will only bend at high speeds;
Oil leaks frequently occur from beneath the oil pan and valve cover gasket.
