Engine Peugeot EP6FADTXD

From 2018 to 2022, Duvrin produced the 1.6-liter Peugeot EP6FADTXD or 5GF engine, which was fitted with an 8-speed ATN8 automatic transmission on models like the 508, DS4, DS7, and C5 Aircross. This motor was modified differently for the E-Tense hybrid power plant.

Disadvantages of the EP6FADTXD engine

Under warranty, some owners of the original engines changed the fuel pump and wiring harness.
The chain can extend up to 100,000 kilometers because of the Start-Stop system’s aggressive operation.
Here, the intake valves are rapidly covered in soot, and there is only direct fuel injection.
Flashing is used to address all other issues that are caused by electrical malfunctions.
