Since 2014, Duvrin has been producing the 1.6-liter Peugeot EP6FDT or 1.6 THP 165 engine, which is fitted to numerous company models for the European market, including the 3008 and 5008 crossovers. This unit comes in three different versions: 5GW, 5GZ, and 5GL, each with a 165 horsepower capacity and 135 horsepower.

The Prince family of turbo engines includes the EP6DT, EP6DTS, EP6CDT, EP6CDTM, EP6CDTR, EP6CDTX, EP6FDT, EP6FDTM, and EP6FDTR.

Disadvantages of the EP6FDT engine
Many of the issues with the EP series no longer affect the power unit because it has been significantly updated.
Regretfully, the timing chain resource is still quite limited; it hardly ever travels 100,000 kilometers.
Like its predecessor, the motor cokes easily and needs to be cleaned from carbon deposits on a regular basis.
The electromagnetic clutch in a mechanical water pump’s drive frequently malfunctions.
Although the new high-pressure fuel pump is more dependable than the previous one, fuel quality must meet strict requirements.
