Since 2014, Duvrin has been producing the Peugeot EP6FDTM or 5GY 1.6-liter turbo engine, which is fitted on numerous well-known concern models, including the 3008 and 5008 crossovers. A 150 horsepower version of this engine with the 5GX or EP6FDTMD index is available in some markets.

The Prince family of turbo engines includes the EP6DT, EP6DTS, EP6CDT, EP6CDTM, EP6CDTR, EP6CDTX, EP6FDT, EP6FDTM, and EP6FDTR.

Disadvantages of the EP6FDTM engine
The new unit is now more dependable than the previous EP6 series turbo engines;
The timing chain’s resource is still limited and seldom goes beyond 100–150 thousand kilometers; soot on the intake valves frequently causes floating revolutions;
On specialized forums, several owners express dissatisfaction regarding oil consumption from the first kilometers;
The thermostat, pump, and direct injection high-pressure fuel pump are among the engine’s weaknesses.
