Only the Peugeot 308 and Citroen C4, as well as a few compact vans based on them, were equipped with the 2.0-liter Peugeot DW10DTED4 or DW10D diesel engine, which was built between 2009 and 2015. In essence, the power unit is a slightly distorted version of the DW10CTED4 motor.

DW10TD, DW10ATED, DW10ATED4, DW10BTED4, DW10CTED4, DW10DTED4, DW10FCTED4, and DW10FDTED4 are all part of the DW10 line.
The engine was mounted on:
- Peugeot 308 I (T7) in 2011 – 2013;
- Peugeot 3008 I (T84) in 2009 – 2015;
- Peugeot 5008 I (T87) in 2009 – 2015;
- Citroen C4 I (B51) in 2010 – 2014;
- Citroen C4 Picasso I (B58) in 2010 – 2013.

Disadvantages of the DW10DTED4 engine
The chain between the camshafts is frequently stretched during a run of 100 to 150 thousand kilometers;
Piezo injectors are a feature of the Common Rail Delphi system, which dislikes poor fuel;
Many owners have encountered chafing of the engine compartment wiring harness; hydraulic lifters fail and begin to knock due to non-original oil; the majority of issues are caused by an EGR valve and a clogged particulate filter.
