Engine Peugeot DW10CTED4

From 2009 to 2015, the 2.0-liter Peugeot DW10CTED4 or DW10C diesel engine was put into the company’s largest mid-size models, including the 308, 407, 508, and 807. There was also a version of this engine with the DW10DTED4 index that was derated to 150 horsepower.

Disadvantages of the DW10CTED4 engine

The wiring harness in the engine compartment of some car models is continuously frayed; hydraulic lifters cannot withstand cheap oil and begin to knock after 100,000 kilometers; a small chain between the camshafts frequently stretches to runs of 150,000 kilometers; Delphi fuel equipment with piezo injectors is demanding on the quality of diesel fuel;
However, the EGR valve and particulate filter are the biggest problems for owners.
