Disadvantages of the DW10BTED4 engine
The chain between the camshafts was frequently stretched during the engine’s early years of production; cheap oil causes hydraulic lifters to quickly fail and begin knocking;
The engine compartment’s wiring harness is frequently frayed, which results in a number of issues;
Low-quality fuel terrifies a contemporary fuel system with piezo injectors;
As usual, the owner faces numerous issues due to a clogged diesel particulate filter and EGR.
