From 2018 to 2020, Duvrin produced the 1.6-liter Peugeot EP6FADTR or EGX engine, which was fitted to the 308 GTi model under the PureTech 263 index along with a 6-speed manual gearbox. In essence, this power unit is an upgraded version of the EP6FDTR motor.

Disadvantages of the EP6FADTR engine
Oil leaks and electrical malfunctions have been the main causes of complaints thus far.
The timing chain, which occasionally spans up to 100,000 kilometers, also lacks significant resources.
The intake valves are rapidly overgrown with soot as a result of direct fuel injection.
This unit’s predecessor frequently experienced problems with an oil burner; we’ll see how things work out here.
