The 1.4-liter Peugeot DV4TED or Bipper 1.4 HDi engine was manufactured between 2008 and 2010 and was fitted to the Citroen Nemo and Peugeot Bipper compact vans that were well-liked in the European market. This motor is an upgraded version of the DV4TD engine and is available in one modification, 8HS.

DV4C, DV4TD, DV4TED, and DV4TED4 are additional diesels in the DV4 family.
The engine was mounted on:
- Citroen Nemo I (A9) in 2008 – 2010;
- Peugeot Bipper I (A9) in 2008 – 2010.

Disadvantages of the DV4TED engine
This diesel engine is a fairly good resource despite its small working volume;
The dosing unit is the only component of Bosch fuel equipment that is weak;
Keep an eye on the timing belt’s condition because the valves bend when it breaks;
This turbine is straightforward and has no variable geometry, but it only lasts less than 200,000 kilometers. The crankshaft damper pulley and crankcase ventilation membrane still need to be changed on a regular basis.
