From 2006 to 2010, the company assembled and installed the 2.2-liter Peugeot DW12BTED4 or DW12B engine on the company’s most prestigious models, including the 407, 607, and 807. This Bi-Turbo diesel came in four different versions: 4HR, 4HS for automatic transmission and 4HP, 4HT for manual transmission.

DW12TED4, DW12BTED4, DW12CTED4, DW12MTED4, and DW12UTED are all part of the DW12 line.

Disadvantages of the DW12BTED4 engine
The owner’s biggest issue is the particulate filter clogging;
Frequent mistakes involving underblowing or overblowing turbines rank second in popularity;
Many people ruin injectors and put off changing an expensive fuel filter;
Furthermore, piezo injectors must be drilled out because they frequently break during disassembly.
