Produced between 2010 and 2015, the 2.2-liter Peugeot DW12CTED4, DW12C, or 4HL engine was limited to the company’s two most prestigious models, the Citroen C5 and the Peugeot 508. Ford vehicles frequently have this power unit modified.

Disadvantages of the DW12CTED4 engine

This motor’s rarity is a drawback.
The particulate filter, which is frequently clogged, is the primary source of the problem.
Additionally, under-blowing or over-blowing of the turbine frequently results in errors here.
In addition to becoming clogged easily, piezo injectors are very difficult to disassemble.
The remaining issues stem from the fuel filter replacement schedule violation.
