Engine Toyota A25A-FKS

The company has only been producing the 2.5-liter Toyota A25A-FKS or 2.5 D-4S engine since 2017, and it is found in popular models like the Camry, RAV4, and Lexus ES250. An A25A-FKB version of this power unit is available for use with bioethanol.

Disadvantages of the A25A-FKS engine

The majority of complaints on specialized forums are about different knocks or noises coming from the engine.
Leaks in the EGR liquid cooler are the most talked-about engine issue.
Antifreeze occasionally seeps into the combustion chamber due to cracks in this heat exchanger.
The EGR system eventually becomes clogged with deposits and wedges at high mileage.
