Disadvantages of the M20A-FXS engine

It is very demanding on fuel quality, just like all units with D-4S injection.
EGR fluid cooler leaks are a known issue with this engine.
Rarely, the heat exchanger may even crack, allowing antifreeze to seep into the cylinders.
The EGR valve may eventually become jammed and clogged with deposits after 100,000 kilometers.
