Only since 2018 has the company’s factories produced the 2.0-liter Toyota M20A-FXS engine, which powers popular hybrid models like the C-HR, Corolla, and Lexus UX250h. This unit, which is part of the Dynamic Force Engine line, stands out for its work on the Miller cycle.

The engines A25A-FKS, A25A-FXS, M15A-FKS, M15A-FXE, M20A-FKS, M20A-FXS, and T24A-FTS are also part of the Dynamic Force family.
The engine was mounted on:

Disadvantages of the M20A-FXS engine
It is very demanding on fuel quality, just like all units with D-4S injection.
EGR fluid cooler leaks are a known issue with this engine.
Rarely, the heat exchanger may even crack, allowing antifreeze to seep into the cylinders.
The EGR valve may eventually become jammed and clogged with deposits after 100,000 kilometers.
