Disadvantages of the HCPA engine

Diesel fuel quality must meet strict requirements for the Delphi Common Rail fuel system;
Only original filters must be used, and the interval between filter replacements must be strictly adhered to;
If not, the engine is in need of a costly overhaul that involves removing the tank, injectors, and high pressure fuel pump;
A small resource has a camshaft position sensor and a crankshaft pulley damper; nozzles frequently start to pour on big shoots, which causes the pistons to burn out.
