Disadvantages of the TPWA engine

Poor fuel frequently causes direct injection system components to malfunction;
During the initial years of production, there were instances of detonation-related piston destruction;
Frequently, the exhaust manifold bursts, and the turbine may be harmed by its pieces;
After using non-original oil, the phase regulators’ couplings become distorted;
The crankshaft rear oil seal has caused oil leaks for numerous owners.
