Engine Dodge EGH

From 1990 to 2011, the company produced the 3.8-liter V6 Dodge EGH gasoline engine, which was fitted to a number of well-known models, such as the Town & Country and Caravan minivans. Although this power unit used a lot of fuel, it was very dependable.

Disadvantages of the EGH engine

Although these engines are highly dependable, they use a lot of fuel;
Up until 2000, there was an issue with valve rocker axle supports breaking on units; after 2002, a plastic intake manifold appeared, which frequently burst;
Antifreeze leaks are common here because aluminum cylinder heads are terrified of overheating.
The timing chain may stretch closer to 200,000 kilometers, and oil consumption may become apparent.
