From 2011 to 2015, the 1.8-liter gasoline turbocharged Audi CJEB 1.8 TFSI was manufactured. It was fitted to well-known company models like the A4 in the rear of the B8 and the A5 in the rear of the 8T. This motor has two additional modifications: CJED (144 horsepower/280 Nm) and CJEE (177 horsepower/320 Nm).

The EA888 gen3 series includes: CJSA, CJSB, CJEB, CHHA, CHHB, CXDA, CNCD, CJXC.

Disadvantages of the Audi CJEB engine
The primary issues with this engine are related to a decrease in the system’s oil pressure;
This is caused by clogged bearing strainers or oil pump malfunctions;
Here, the timing chain is quickly removed, and the phase regulators are short-lived;
Numerous cooling system malfunctions: a pump with a thermostat or valve N488 is leaking; boost pressure actuator adjustments typically help with frequent power outages.
