Disadvantages of the Audi CAHA engine
Here, unpredictable piezo injectors rapidly malfunction due to poor fuel;
Diesel vehicles manufactured prior to 2009 had an oil pump hex issue;
Oil is frequently forced out of the engine through the plastic valve cover;
The timing belt serves 180,000 km, and when it breaks, the valves bend in accordance with factory regulations. Particulate filters and EGR valves cause a lot of issues on large runs.
