Disadvantages of the HXDA engine

Phase regulators that are not very reliable are the main source of issues for owners.
The fuel pump and ignition system’s frequent malfunctions rank second;
regular oil leaks from the crankshaft oil seals or beneath the valve cover;
Large maintenance involving timing replacement and valve clearance adjustment is required once every 100,000 kilometers;
You will probably have to deal with the motor’s decarbonization after 200,000 kilometers.
