The third generation Inspire and numerous models made under the Acura brand were equipped with the Honda J32A 3.2-liter V6 gasoline engine, which was produced in the United States between 1998 and 2008. There were three variations of this power unit, each with a different power output.

Internal combustion engines J25A, J30A, J35A, and J37A are also part of the J-series.
The engine was mounted on:
- Acura CL 2 (YA4) in 2000 – 2003;
- Acura TL 2 (UA4) in 1998 – 2003;
- Acura TL 3 (UA6) in 2003 – 2008;
- Honda Inspire 3 (UA4) in 1998 – 2003;

Disadvantages of the Honda J32A engine
This line of power units is renowned for its dependability and modesty.
You must keep a close eye on the system’s oil level because it is quite small.
The valve always bends when the timing belt breaks, and it can travel up to 100,000 kilometers.
Floating engine speeds are frequently caused by throttle and nozzle contamination.
Unstable engine operation is frequently caused by misaligned valves.
