Disadvantages of the Isuzu 6VE1 engine

The unit’s fuel consumption is excessive, but it has no specific reliability issues.
You must be aware that rare engines have issues with spare parts and maintenance.
The majority of complaints on specialized forums have something to do with the oil burner.
Additionally, owners frequently talk about fuel injector failure and replacement.
You must replace the timing belt every 100,000 kilometers and adjust the valves once every 100,000 kilometers.
