Since 2010, the Japanese company’s factories have assembled the 1.6-liter Mitsubishi 4A92 engine, which is found in many Chinese vehicles as well as its ASX and Lancer models. This line’s power units were developed in partnership with the Daimler-Chrysler company.

The 4A90 and 4A91 engines are also part of the 4A9 family.
The engine was mounted on:

Disadvantages of the Mitsubishi 4A92 engine
Owners typically complain about the oil burner because the rings or caps are worn out;
The motor’s connecting rod and piston group resources are significantly reduced by oil starvation;
Here, some ignition system components are not very reliable;
Crankshaft oil seal leaks and timing chain stretching occur after 100,000 kilometers;
The lack of hydraulic compensators necessitates adjusting valve clearances.
