Disadvantages of the Mitsubishi 4G15T engine
This unit is very dependable and rarely causes issues for a turbo engine;
The majority of complaints concern the electric choke’s unpredictability, but calibration and cleaning can help;
An oil burner is frequently discovered after 100,000 kilometers because of ring or cap wear;
Keep an eye on the timing belt’s condition because the valves typically bend when it breaks;
Engine mounts, thermostats, and short-lived ignition coils are among the weaknesses.
