Engine Nissan VG30DET

From 1986 to 1996, the Japanese company produced the 3.0-liter Nissan VG30DET engine, which was exclusively used in the Leopard coupe and large sedans like the Sima, Cedric, and Gloria. With a Garrett T3 turbine, this power unit produced 255 horsepower and 343 Nm of power.

Disadvantages of the VG30DET engine

The exhaust manifold is the motor’s problematic area; it simply cracks; additionally, the gasket frequently burns in the outlet and breaks when the fastening stud is removed;
Frequent crankshaft shank breakage puts the engine at risk of valve bending;
