Engine Nissan VQ25DET

The 2.5-liter Nissan VQ25DET engine was manufactured for a very brief period of time, from 2001 to 2004, and it was only used on one of the company’s models, the Stagea station wagon in the rear of the M35. This turbocharged engine produced 410 Nm of torque and 280 horsepower.

Disadvantages of the VQ25DET engine

Because the engine requires high-quality fuel and oils, saving money will be extremely expensive.
The catalyst is destroyed by poor gasoline, and the resulting crumbs enter the combustion chamber;
There are scuffs on the cylinder walls if the oil consumption is more than 1 liter per 1000 kilometers;
As the cylinder head overheats, the mating surfaces start to warp; closer to 200,000 km, noise starts to appear near the timing chains; prepare for replacement.
