Disadvantages of the A13DTE engine
This diesel engine struggles to operate in the bitter cold because it fears the cold;
The timing chain mechanism fears a drop in oil level and has limited resources;
Here, a dirty EGR valve causes the engine to stall right after starting;
Overheating is mostly caused by thermostat leaks, which are frequent;
Diesel fuel gets into the oil and needs to be replaced when the particulate filter burns.
