Disadvantages of the EB2ADTX engine
Since this turbine unit was just added, failure data has not yet been gathered.
There are sporadic complaints about low oil consumption on specialized forums.
The engine’s injectors only use direct injection, and carbon buildup on the valves is not unusual.
The timing belt in an oil bath is the engine family’s weak point.
Occasionally, wear products clog the pump and oil channels, and it is quickly erased.
