From 2007 to 2018, the Duvrin plant produced the 1.6-liter Peugeot EP6DTS engine, which was fitted as 5FY on the charged 207 GTi and 308 GT models and as 5FD and 5FF on DS3 Racing. The Mini had comparable power units installed under the N14B16A and N14B16C indices.

The Prince family of turbo engines includes the EP6DT, EP6DTS, EP6CDT, EP6CDTM, EP6CDTR, EP6CDTX, EP6FDT, EP6FDTM, and EP6FDTR.

Disadvantages of the EP6DTS engine
The direct injection system’s injection pump, which has a 50,000 km resource, is the engine’s weak point;
The timing chain has very little use and occasionally needs to be adjusted every 30,000 kilometers;
The engine’s oil burner, intake pipe coking, and oil supply pipes are also well-known;
A vacuum pump wedge is frequently present, occasionally even with the camshaft being cranked;
Additionally, engine owners frequently replace the water pump, thermostat, and lambda probes.
