Engine Toyota 2GR-FKS

Since 2015, the Japanese company has been producing the 3.5-liter V6 Toyota 2GR-FKS engine, which powers vehicles like the Camry, Sienna, and Highlander as well as the Lexus RX350, ES350, and IS350. Atkinson cycle operation and D-4S combined fuel injection are features of this engine.

Disadvantages of the 2GR-FKS engine

This power unit is regarded as dependable, and no significant damage was found;
They frequently complain about oil leaks, particularly on the timing cover, on specialized forums;
Because of the canister purge electrovacuum valve’s wedge, engine speed frequently floats;
This series of motors was recalled in order to replace the low pressure fuel pump;
Short-lived ignition coils and a pump are additional engine flaws.
