Disadvantages of the VW DADA engine
Due to this motor’s relative novelty, not much is known about its malfunctions.
The engine has very high fuel quality requirements.
The behavior of a variable geometry turbine in a gasoline engine is unknown.
The push when the clutch is released in first gear is a major issue with the 1.5 TSI.
