Since 2014, the company has assembled the 1.6-liter Volkswagen DCXA 1.6 TDI diesel engine, which is found in well-known models like the Passat B8 and the third-generation Skoda Superb. This powertrain is uncommon in other markets and is primarily available in Europe.

DCXA, CRLB, CRMB, DETA, DBGC, DFGA, DFBA, and DAUA are also part of the EA288 series.

Disadvantages of the VW DCXA engine
The timing belt is intended to last 210 thousand kilometers, but it is changed more frequently; if it breaks, the valves bend; occasionally the heat exchanger gasket dries up and antifreeze begins to leak out; owners on specialized forums compliment this power unit and only complain about lubricant leaks;
Particulate filters and EGR valves are very problematic at high mileage.
