Disadvantages of the D5244T15 engine
First and foremost, you must keep an eye on the timing belt’s condition and replace it every 60,000 kilometers; hydraulic lifters dislike conserving oil and can already knock by 100,000 kilometers; the alternator belt serves even less and falls under the timing belt if it breaks;
Even here, the throttle and EGR valves quickly become clogged and dirty; after 200,000 kilometers, liners frequently burst and antifreeze combines with oil.
