Engine Volkswagen CZPA

The most well-known Tiguan or Skoda Kodiaq crossovers are equipped with the 2.0-liter turbocharged Volkswagen CZPA 2.0 TSI engine, which has only been put together since 2016. This power unit is one of the B series’ economical motors and runs on the Miller cycle.

Disadvantages of the VW CZPA engine

The timing chain resource has expanded, but it is still closer to 150,000 km; several complaints regarding oil consumption have already been made on the specialized forums;
The water pump housing is distorted as a result of the unit’s high operating temperature;
An oil pump with a two-stage control system is the source of many issues.
