Disadvantages of the VW CBZB engine

The motor’s primary issue during its first year of production was the timing chain’s extremely low resource.
The updated chain is roughly 100,000 kilometers long, but when it is stretched, it jumps right away.
The wastegate control electric drive and turbine geometry frequently malfunction.
This engine is also well-known for its sporadic idle vibrations.
The lengthy engine warm-up during the winter is another drawback.
