Engine Audi AEW

Produced between 1995 and 1998, the 3.7-liter Audi AEW engine, also known as the 3.7-liter A8 D2 engine, was fitted to the front and all-wheel drive versions of the well-liked A8 model in the D2 body. There are minor variations in the injection system and a comparable motor with the AKJ index.

Disadvantages of the Audi AEW engine

It fears overheating and bad gas, just like any aluminum block engine;
Frequent overheating and maintenance savings result in scoring;
Low-quality oil frequently causes hydraulic lifters to make noise; keep an eye on the timing belt’s condition because when it breaks, the valves usually bend; lubrication leaks are also frequently found, particularly at the motor-gearbox junction.
