Disadvantages of the Audi DETA engine

The engine’s short-lived flywheel is currently its only weak point.
Diesel fuel savings frequently result in costly fuel equipment repairs;
The EGR valve rapidly becomes clogged with soot, just like in many contemporary diesel engines;
This water pump might break before the timing belt is supposed to be replaced;
If you don’t pour oils with VW 507.00 or 509.00 approvals, the particulate filter won’t last very long.
