Disadvantages of the Fiat 188A4000 engine

Due to rings, the majority of complaints on specialized forums are about oil consumption;
Additionally, the crankshaft pulley key on engines from the early years of production was frequently severed;
The engine speed frequently floats as a result of fuel pump grid or throttle contamination;
This power unit’s pillows, starter, and thermostat are its weak points;
Remember to adjust valve clearances every 50,000 kilometers.
