From 1995 to 1999, the company produced the Fiat 182A1000 2.0-liter 5-cylinder engine, which was used in the Bravo, Coupe, and Marea models as well as the 838A1000 Lancia Kappa. This power unit had a more potent version with the index 182B7000.

Disadvantages of the Fiat 182A1000 engine
The owners only have complaints about fuel consumption, and the motor proved to be very dependable.
Every 60,000 kilometers, replace the timing belt because the valves typically bend when it breaks.
Regular coolant and lubricant leaks cause a lot of problems here.
The electrician and attachments frequently fail here, just like in many Italian engines.
