Disadvantages of the Fiat 199A2000 engine

This diesel engine is renowned for its ability to use up oil while in active operation;
Here, a small resource distinguishes the timing chain and, specifically, the hydraulic tensioner;
In winter, starting is challenging due to freezing of the ECU or crankcase ventilation;
A mass air flow sensor, an EGR valve, and an ever-leaking heat exchanger are additional weaknesses. Fuel may enter the oil during the burning of the soot, raising its level.
