From 2001 to 2007, the 2.4-liter, five-cylinder Fiat 192A2000 engine was assembled in Italy and fitted to the Lancia Lybra and Thesis as well as charged Stilo models like the Abarth or GT. A comparable engine, designated 838A2000, was fitted to Lancia Kappa vehicles until 2001.

Pratola Serra series: 182A3000, 182A2000, 182A1000, 192A2000.

Disadvantages of the Fiat 192A2000 engine
Perhaps not the most inventive phase regulator is one of the unit’s weaknesses.
The timing belt is supposed to be replaced every 90,000 kilometers, but this isn’t always the case;
The camshaft cams may already be worn after 200–250 thousand kilometers; on extended runs, rings frequently lie and oil consumption is evident.
