Disadvantages of the Honda C27A engine

Although they use a lot of fuel, the engines in this family are very dependable.
Frequent oil leaks from beneath the valve covers are a common complaint from owners.
The most common cause of the remaining engine failures is an outdated ignition system.
Rings typically lie down and the oil burn starts after 200–250 thousand kilometers.
