Engine Honda C32A

From 1990 to 1999, the company’s factories produced the 3.2-liter V6 Honda C32A engine, which was fitted to the second generation Legend models, the Inspire, and their Acura-branded equivalents. There was a Type 2 version with 230 horsepower in addition to the standard engine modifications for 200–205 horsepower.

The engines in the C series are the C27A, C30A, C32A, and C35A.

The engine was mounted on:

  • Acura TL 1 (UA) in 1995 – 1998;
  • Daewoo Arcadia 1 in 1994 – 1999;
  • Honda Inspire 2 (UA) in 1995 – 1998;
  • Honda Legend 2 (KA7) in 1990 – 1995;
  • Honda Saber 1 (UA) in 1995 – 1998.

Disadvantages of the Honda C32A engine

Although there are no issues with the engine’s dependability, many people are dissatisfied with its fuel consumption;
Here, oil leaks from beneath the valve covers are the most frequent issue;
Grease frequently gets into the candle wells and damages the ignition coils;
Only lambda probes and a pump might need to be replaced after 100,000 kilometers of operation; after 200,000 kilometers, piston rings frequently cause an oil burn.
