Internal combustion engines (B16A, B16B, B18C, and B20B) are also part of the B-series.
The engine was mounted on:
- Honda Civic 5 (EG) in 1992 – 1995;
- Honda Civic 6 (EJ) in 1995 – 2000;
- Honda Domani 1 (MA) in 1992 – 1996;
- Honda Integra 3 (DB) in 1993 – 2001;

Disadvantages of the Honda B18B engine
This line of motors has almost no distinguishing flaws and is incredibly dependable;
In contrast, only a water pump and a thermostat have limited resources;
The possibility of the cylinder head gasket suddenly penetrating increases after 200,000 kilometers of operation;
The valves may bend here if the timing belt, which is intended to last 90,000 kilometers, breaks;
Since there are no hydraulic lifters, valve adjustment is necessary every 40,000 kilometers.
