Disadvantages of the Land Rover 508PS engine

The stretching of the timing chains at low mileage is the most well-known engine issue.
Additionally, the blower drive needs to be replaced because it can hum rather quickly.
Rarely, the cylinder head gasket breaks when valve seats come loose.
Remember to clean the fuel injectors and throttle body on a regular basis.
A pump and an extra cooling fan are further drawbacks.
