Disadvantages of the Mazda FS-DE engine

This motor has a good resource and is renowned for its simplicity and dependability;
A new head is costly, the engine should not overheat, and the head drives quickly;
The power units in this series frequently use oil after 150,000 kilometers of operation;
There are no hydraulic lifters, and valve clearances must be changed every 100,000 kilometers. The timing belt is changed every 60,000 kilometers, but when it breaks, the valves do not bend.
