Engine Mercedes M276 DE30

Since its introduction in 2013, the majority of the company’s current models have been equipped with the 3.0-liter Mercedes M276 V6 engine. This power unit comes in two variations: DE30 LA red, which has a 272 horsepower capacity, and DE30 LA, which has a 333–367 horsepower capacity.

Disadvantages of the M276 DE30 engine

The timing chain tensioners are this power unit’s most troublesome component.
You will need to replace the timing kit with phase regulators if you overlook their failure.
Impulse disks on camshafts are frequently displaced on these engines as well.
Injectors that use direct injection are sensitive to the fuel’s quality.
On specialized forums, a few instances of scuffing caused by catalyst crumbs have been reported.
