Disadvantages of the Z14XE engine
Valve stem seals that have flown off the guides are typically the cause of the oil burner;
A clogged EGR valve is frequently the cause of the loss of traction and floating engine speeds;
Every 60,000 kilometers, the timing belt needs to be replaced; otherwise, the valves will bend;
Hydraulic lifters can knock rapidly due to poor-quality engine oil;
Every now and then, the motor experiences grease leaks, particularly from beneath the valve cover.
