Disadvantages of the Saab B207E engine

The primary issue with this dependable motor is the short chain life;
You must replace the timing chain and the balance shaft chain after 200,000 kilometers;
This turbine works fairly well, but its bypass valve frequently malfunctions;
A short-lived crankcase ventilation valve causes numerous issues;
An electric throttle, a gasoline pump, a control unit, and a crankshaft position sensor are among the weaknesses.
